What is the introductory offer?
Introductory offer: 2 years for the price of 1, on a 2-year commitment. There are two ways to pay. Pay monthly: £199 + VAT a month for 12 months (first month by card, then direct debit), year 2 free. Or pay in full and save 20%: £1,910.40 + VAT once, year 2 free.
Why is paying in full cheaper?
Paying in full saves us both the time spent setting up and chasing monthly direct debits, so we pass that saving on to you as 20% off. You pay £1,910.40 + VAT once by card instead of 12 × £199 + VAT (£2,388 + VAT), and year 2 is still free.
Are prices shown with or without VAT?
Prices are exclusive of VAT, which is added at the prevailing rate (clause 23).
How are payments collected?
Where the fee is paid in instalments, payment is by direct debit. We may use a third-party provider to manage the collection of these payments, and basic identity and anti-money laundering checks are carried out (clause 36).
Does the agreement renew automatically?
Yes. The agreement renews automatically at the end of the Term unless you give us 3 months’ written notice before the Term ends (clauses 43 and 44).
How does the free golf work?
You can book 1 fourball a month at your home club and 1 at an alternative venue in our network. Bookings are Monday to Friday unless otherwise agreed. Saturday and Sunday bookings are subject to availability at the club’s discretion and are not guaranteed (clauses 12 to 15).
What if the club can’t provide the services?
If services can’t be supplied at the Club, we may substitute another venue within a 30 mile radius and will let you know (clause 10).
How is the free golf valued?
Your 12 fourballs at the club are valued at the club’s peak weekend visitor green fee of £30 a round (£1,440), and your 12 network fourballs at an average UK green fee of £40 a round (£1,920). Total £3,360 a year. Bookings are Monday to Friday unless otherwise agreed.
